Over the last weeks I have worked on creating new sections and continuously added content to this website. It is still work-in-progress and will likely stay the same for the weeks to come but an initial structure has clearly evolved. Therefore, it is time to share some explanation on the main sections:
The homepage is divided into two sections and overall aimed at showcasing some recent or old-time favorites. The slider with its full size feature image brings you directly to the corresponding portfolio option. I will update the destinations included continuously.
The travel log puts destinations into a chronological order. Currently you may filter by year but more filters will be added sooner or later. Also, most post do not have much story yet.
This section includes all destinations. You can filter by different categories. Rather than time, the location is the main criteria here.
You may call it the top 25 of my current favorite pictures.
Currently, I am still not sure whether to keep the blog open or remove it. I do not like the layout of it, neither am I sure to provide enough content to make the section worthwhile.
Under Development
Quite a few ideas are still being tried out in the background and kept under the hood for now. I am still not sure how to include a map view into the site and also experimenting with a view bucket lists. More to come soon…
