My first stop on my Switzerland and Italy Trip in October 2015. Weather was unfortunately not the best but with short breaks with no rain in the course of the day. Lucerne is nicely located at the Lake Lucerne with some nice Swiss Alps panorama. Weather during my one day stop-over did not allow for much visibility. Nevertheless, the Chapel Bridge and the Lion Monument are beautiful sights with any weather.
The vineyards in Rhineland-Palatinate are throughout the year a nice spot to take pictures. This set was taken in early autumn in vineyards around Freinsheim. Less hills in this area but a great distance view with Ludwigshafen and Mannheim on the horizon. On this day, I was very luck with the weather. The sun made the vine shimmer while the blue sky was full of nice clouds.
