One of the highlights of the trip through north Italy was the visit in Venice. It was raining a lot but the sun came out just in the moment I had decided to leave which made me u-turn and walk though the city all over again.
Next stop on the Italy Trip in October 2015 was the Lago Maggiore. We drove one time around it and visited the two islands Isola Superiore and Isola Bella.
Second stop on the Italy trip in October 2015 was the area around Como and Lugano at the border of Switzerland and Italy.
My first stop on my Switzerland and Italy Trip in October 2015. Weather was unfortunately not the best but with short breaks with no rain in the course of the day. Lucerne is nicely located at the Lake Lucerne with some nice Swiss Alps panorama. Weather during my one day stop-over did not allow for much visibility. Nevertheless, the Chapel Bridge and the Lion Monument are beautiful sights with any weather.
The vineyards in Rhineland-Palatinate are throughout the year a nice spot to take pictures. This set was taken in early autumn in vineyards around Freinsheim. Less hills in this area but a great distance view with Ludwigshafen and Mannheim on the horizon.
On this day, I was very luck with the weather. The sun made the vine shimmer while the blue sky was full of nice clouds.
